Over more than 700 people are working out of twenty locations, included an own leasing company, in the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary and Germany. Main activities are focused on international bulk - and tank transports and Volvo-Trucks dealerships. The head office is based in Rijssen, the Netherlands. For its Polish location in Kutno, Nijhof Wassink Transport is seeking an enthusiastic General Manager Transport.
In this position, you will be responsible for the transport centre in Kutno and reporting to the managing director of Nijhof Wassink Transport in the Netherlands. Kutno is the main office of 70 truck-tank combinations where also a "state of art" bulk storage park, a container terminal, a transhipment/warehousing and a tank cleaning can be found.
For the 90 employees you are an inspiring leader, who knows the job that needs to be done. With your excellent managing skills and experience you are able to motivate your people in area’s as quality, (customer) service and reliability. You have proven professional experience in the world of transport, at an Academic level. You are a commercially driven entrepreneur who is focused on results and opportunities. You are able to convince your customers about the opportunities that multi-modal logistic solutions bring. You fluently communicate in the Polish, English and German language.
